NEW AWARD - INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE 2005


Bronze medal at the Aquitaine regional wine competition and at the Montreal international competition for the 1993 vintage; GOLD medals at the Aquitaine regional wine competition for the 1994, 1995 (Scoring 17.5 on the Gault-Millau wine rating system), 1996, 2000, and silver medal for the 1999 vintage. The 2000 vintage has also obtained a silver medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. The domain has also received awards for its "Cuvée Prestige", whose 1990 and 1996 vintages received the Gold Vinalies from the French Union of Winemakers in 2001 and whose 1995 and 1999 vintages have been awarded the Silver Vinalies in 2000 and 2005.

Always present and regularly starred in the Hachette Guide, the following comments were made in the 1999 Guide about the 1995 vintage: “Confirming the regularity shown by this cru over several years, this vintage is the very picture of a likeable Haut Médoc...” The 2001 and 2004 Guides respectively awarded two stars to the 1997 and 2000 vintages.
